My ROBLOX Story: Part 2 - The 'birth' of Wistfulguest7 !

 Hey guys!! So in Part 1 I've discussed about how I got introduced to the world of ROBLOX and how I instantly fell in love with it. You can read it here if you haven't! In this part I'm going to share the story of my first ever account: Wistfulguest7!

PS. Since this was a reallyyy long time ago, I obviously can't remember every single detail so this may not be that accurate. Also to avoid any confusion, I just wanna clarify that beachsidecutie wasn't originally my account but it was given to me by my amazing friend Aisha <3

It was November 5th 2012. At that point it had been about a year since I first discovered roblox... and I still was a freaking guest! Yes, it had been a year and I still couldn't figure out how to make an account because I couldn't speak english... european kid struggles :( After 1 year, there were many things I hated about being a guest, but because I don't wanna bore you to death I'm only gonna mention the main two things that bothered me the most:

1. You couldn't customize your character at all! Unless you made an account, you were basically stuck with that boring guest outfit DX

2. You know how you can save your progress in your favorite games right? Well back then us guests didn't have that luxury... This especially really bothered me in "Welcome to ROBLOX building" (remember that game??) which was one of my favorite games back then. I remember spending AGES building all kinds of 'marvelous' buildings: castles, tree houses, spaceships, you name it! Hell I even built the Titanic one time (or atleast tried to, and wasn't very successful...) But since I didn't have an actual account the buildings would never save. Everytime I left the game and rejoined it the next day, my masterpiece would go POOF! It was all gone D:

So after a year of being 'wronged' for being a guest, I've had ENOUGH! I BEGGED my mom (who wasn't very tech savvy and barely spoke english herself) to help me make an account. At first she was skeptical because of 'online safety' or whatever but she eventually gave in. In the begining we couldn't figure it out but we slowly started making progress. Now I'm not sure if this actually happened or if I made it up and if you're an OG please tell me if this was an actual thing, but I remember that when I tried making an username that was already taken, roblox would generate a few random usernames that were available... I clicked on one of those usernames and that's how Wistfulguest7 was born!! :D

This is how I looked when I first signed up:

At that moment I was over the moon!! I couldn't believe I finally had my own account after so long :) I remember the first ever game I played on this account was 'Simon Says' then some building game similar to 'Welcome to ROBLOX building'. I think it was this one

After a while I had finally saved up enough tix for a new outfit! This was my first outfit ever:

Remember when the Stage Prop hat was only 50 tix and clothes were only 1-2 tix? Good times :)

This may not be a 'good' outfit by today's standards (or even 2012 standards lol) but back then 7 year old me was SO PROUD of this outfit and thought that I was the coolest kid on the block when in reality I was probably being called a noob left and right... good thing I was totally clueless back then xD

Fun fact: this is how roblox looked on November 6th 2012, one day after I signed up! Unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures of it on the exact day I made the account...

My new year resolutions!

Hey guys, wishing you all a very happy new year!! 2009 was awesome & may 2010 be even better :D And yes, I aware that I'm 2 days late (as per usual...) which brings me to my first resolution:

1. Be more productive

It's no secret that I kinda 'neglected' this blog a bit and didn't really post as much as I would've liked last year... procrastination is a bitch! I've been kinda struggling with this for quite a while, both on my blog & other areas of my life, such as school... Since school started I've been slacking off which is quite worrying because I got exams next year so I really gotta get myself together lol. This year is the year I'll fight procrastination and hopefully win the battle! And I also want to get back into drawing and find new hobbies this year :)

2. Post other stuff besides ROBLOX

When I first started this blog I wanted it to be a mix of everything I like: everything 2000s-2010s (music, fashion, pop culture etc), games such as ROBLOX, Moviestarplanet and The Sims, storytimes and whatever else is on my mind, but over the time this blog turned into a 'roblox only blog' and this year I wanna change that! Of course I'll still post roblox content but I just wanna switch it up a bit. If you guys got anything you'd like me to post on my blog let me know :)

3. Be more outgoing

To be honest last year wasn't really the best when it comes to socializing as I'm quite shy in real life (even on the internet sometimes lol), so this year I want to finally break out of my shell for good and become the best version of myself :D

4. Have a healthier lifestyle

At the moment my lifestyle is anything but healthy! My sleeping schedule is a mess (fun fact I'm writing this at 2am lol) and I guess I'm a 'tech addict'... so this year I want to fix my sleeping schedule and ditch my smartphone for good and replace it with an 'oldschool' phone. This resolution is already half-done as I have an old blackberry phone lying around collecting dust so now all I gotta do is give up using my smartphone which is NOT EASY! And not only because of my phone addiction but I don't wanna get weird stares at school DX

I also wanna start exercising more and practice mindfulness! 

These are pretty much my main resolutions for this year! There are probably more that I can't think of at the moment because of how late it is at the time of writing this... >.> If I get any more ideas I'll make sure to update this post. ♥ 2022 ROBLOX Memories ♥

Hey guys! Since 2022 is coming to an end, I thought it would be nice to take a trip down memory lane and share some of my favorite moments from this year!

 Honestly this year might be one of my favorite years on ROBLOX. I have accomplished so many achievements in 2022, such as my clothing group reaching over 3k members, starting a blog AND getting over 1k views in just a few months, my Beach Hangout game reaching over 5k visits and meeting Cindering, the creator of one of my favorite roblox games of all time! But what really made this year so amazing is all of the awesome friends I've made along the way which I'm SO grateful for because it's hard to find other people in real life who have the same interests as I do, such as the 2000s-early 2010s era as a whole, old roblox etc, so meeting other like-minded people on the internet gave me the opportunity to finally be myself 100% <3 Thanks for all the amazing memories we've shared throughout this year and I'm looking forward to making even in 2023. WTF? Or shall I say... ¿QUÉ COÑO?

 So I just logged into ROBLOX and I was greeted by this...

First of all, why the hell did they warn me in SPANISH?? The shirt I was trying to upload had nothing to do with Spain/spanish and the whole title was in english so I'm confused... I'm really wondering what these admins are smoking when they give out warning like this xD

I'm not a fluent spanish speaker, but I can still tell that they warned me because I uploaded something 'inappropriate' which brings me to my next question... how is it inappropriate??

I literally don't see how it's inappropriate... it's just a cute green laced cami! I've seen WAY worse stuff on ROBLOX and they somehow got away with it but when I try to upload this it's a problem? And what's even weirder is that they let me upload this EXACT same top in different colors but this one got flagged for some reason..

I don't know what's more strange, the fact that they warned me for something completely inoffensive or that they did it in spanish?? Has this ever happened to you guys? o_o

My Christmas wishlist!

 Hey guys!! The most wonderful time of the year is approaching more and more, which of course is VERY exciting but also a bit weird... because how the hell is it already December?? It feels like just yesterday it was December LAST YEAR! Is it just me or time is passing faster & faster? o_o

Anyways, here are the things I want for Christmas! Feel free to use this list as an inspiration for your list or as a gift guide :p

1. Electronics

-iPod

I absolutely love music!! I couldn't last a day without my beloved songs, so carrying an mp3 player with headphones plugged in 24/7 is a MUST! It's basically life support for me, and an iPod would definitely do the job! I currently use my phone as a music player which works too I guess, but it just doesn't compare to owning an actual iPod with all of your favorite tunes stored in it and no other distractions. Another thing I love about iPods is how stylish & diverse they are! They come in so many colors, sizes & prices there's a perfect martch for everyone! Personally, I would like an iPod Nano or Classic in pink, white, black, blue or green! NOT an iPod Shuffle tho, I find it kinda lame... it doesn't even have a screen and it's so tiny my clumsy self would probably lose it in a few days LOL 

-Digital Camera

Especially one of those Sony Cyber-shot cameras, I heard they're really good! Again, I'd like it to be pink, white, silver or black :)

-One of those snazzy liquid computer mouses

So cool!!

2. Fashion

-A bunch of new clothes

Love me some Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle and Aeropostale <33

-Uggs

Uggs are love, uggs are life.. especially those with bows on the back. So cute!!

-Juicy Couture daydreamer bag or Coach bag

Carry your things in style!

-New perfume

Any Britney Spears perfume, Viva La Juicy, Victoria's Secret etc. (:

I'm starting to run out of perfume so I need a new one ASAP!

3. Room

-Playboy bunny pillow(s)

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon as they're very rare to find where I live </3

-Zebra print EVERYTHING!!

Curtains, bed sheets, rugs, you name it!

-A new wardrobe

Because my clothes barely fit in my current wardrobe anymore.. it's such a mess >_>

4. Others

-Victoria's Secret dog plush

-MORE SNOW!!

At the time of writing this it's December 11 and it has yet to snow! Not even ONE snowflake to be seen.. it's so depressing! I'm really hoping that by the time Christmas comes around it'll start snowing cause what's Christmas without some snow?? :(

Anddd that wraps up my Christmas wish list! Hopefully I'll get atleast ONE thing on this list. Out of everything on here, the thing I want the most is the iPod.. so if I buy myself a nice Christmas present it'll 100% be an iPod!

OMG!!! I can't believe that in just under 3 months I managed to get over 1000 blog views!! This is seriously insane! And this isn't the only milestone I've accomplished this week...

Recently, my ROBLOX game 'Fun Beach Hangout' has also reached over 1000 visits!! When I first made this game I would've never thought it would get so many visits as it was simply just a place for me and my friends to hangout at, but as time went by, more & more people started playing my game, especially in the last few days when the game went from just 500-something visits to 1000+!!! That's just crazy! And it's all thanks to you, my amazing supporters and friends, for helping me reach these milestones!! You guys are awesome <3
